The third round matches of the Bangladesh Cricket League is continued to be blessed with some individual performances as Shuvagata Hom scored a century while Irfan Hossain and Rishad Hossain picked up five wickets in their respective matches Monday.
On the second day of their game, Central Zone ended on 481 riding on 152 runs from skipper Hom before South Zone finished the day on 92/1 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong.
In the other match, North Zone were all out for 310 runs replying to East Zone’s 166 and East’s medium pacer Irfan was the star of the day with five-wicket haul at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium, Rajshahi.
At ZACS, Central started the innings on 293/4 with Soumya Sarkar on 128 and Hom on 62.

Mahidul Islam Ankon and Sharifullah, who scored 48 and 49 batting respectively at sixth and seventh, further ensured a substantial lead with two useful knocks.

East ended the day on 17/0 in their second innings.
