Chasing 167 for victory, Bangladesh were all out for 143 with a ball to spare as Zimbabwe leveled the series 1-1.
Bangladesh made two changes to the playing eleven from the first T20I as Shamim Hossain made his debut replacing Liton Kumar Das, while Taskin Ahmed came in place of Mustafizur Rahman.
Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah during toss: We’d have chased anyway. Looks like a good wicket, hopefully we can restrict them as low as we can. That (powerplay while bowling) is one area we need to look forward, we just need to see how we can execute our plans. Liton is injured, Shamim is making his debut. Mustafizur has a slight ankle niggle, Taskin comes back in.
Zimbabwe skipper Raza during toss: We’ll bat first again. It is a good strip. We didn’t execute our batting plans as well in the last game. We back ourselves to put runs on the board and come out later and defend it. We have got two changes. Richard Ngarava has been rested. Tendai Chatara is back. Musakanda makes way for Shumba.
